EEMUA Publication 240 provides a description of these factors as they currently stand – future updates maybe published. It was not the role of the Forum to provide technical solutions to issues (which are beingdealt with by refinery companies in conjunction with API Committees and the various Joint IndustryProjects, JIPs) but to highlight areas to members where knowledge of different approaches andincreased awareness in managing the problem at facility level are beneficial to delivering good practice.
